First Week of Summer To-Do List
The first week of summer is coming sooner than you think! The last week of school in Oregon is typically the 2nd or 3rd week of June. While summer can bring a whole lot of schedule changes, we are going to stay consistent. Here’s some fun things you can do out at the farm in June:
Feed the Goats
Every Playtime & Goats ticket includes a bag of feed! Keep your hand flat with feed on it, give them a little pat on the head, and watch them have fun.
Sit on a Real Tractor
Kids love old tractors! They feel like experts up in the seat, shifting gears, and telling you what they’re working on. It’s so fun taking pictures on the tractor every year and comparing how much your child grew in a year.
Play in a Sandbox
Who doesn’t love to play with construction vehicles in the sand? This is the perfect place to sit back and relax while your kids work hard at the sand construction site. They will have big plans and a lot to do. They always love the tires too!
Play Pretend: Farmer Edition
Take care of all the animals in the play area. Make sure they get safely back in their barns and practice making animal noises.
Slide & Bounce & Slide & Bounce!
We have so many options for gettin’ that energy out! Our play area is perfect gross motor movement. Jump and slide as much as you want before 4pm Wed-Sun this summer.
